After defeating Evil Namco High and rescuing Pac Man, Cousin thought they’d get their happy ending. But it seems the universe had more in store for them. When two students go missing shortly after the battle, Cousin ends up on the hunt for answers, discovering secrets about the very nature of their universe that might have been better left unknown. Now they’ll have to contend with new, dangerous threats, all while trying to navigate through the social wackiness that is Namco High. Here’s hoping that Fate is kind.

As the roll is called, and Davesprite's fellow romantic options obligingly introduced their personalities for the protagonist, Davesprite tried to relax. It's probably okay, he tells himself, something went wrong but it's probably okay-- and at worst, he only had to put up with this for a few days before they're back to the usual, loop after loop after loop of the same people, the same lines, the same story-- at least it's predictable. At least it's low-stakes. At least no worlds will end. Probably Cousin just tripped on their cute little space unitard and broke their katamari, and the game decided it needed someone to fill the protagonist position.
Maybe it'll even be fun, for a few days.
"Sup," he responds when his name is called, and puts his chin in his hand as Dig Dug calls for their newest face.
Chara smiles mildly, and raises a hand.

He hated people. People were awful, they did all those things on the news and left gum on the sidewalks and tried to keep driving even when Anti was trying his darned best to make it across the crosswalk without getting himself flattened. Robots were predictable. They did what they were told and did it well, and Anti didn't have to worry about being backstabbed because he was bad at being evil.
