Summary
Nearly a year after Bruce Wayne has become the vigilante, Batman, he faces a new threat unlike anyone else. A mysterious criminal known as The Riddler causes chaos in Gotham City on a rampage of destruction and violence. Batman must work with Detective Gordon in order to subdue the madman, but as the Riddler’s rampage continues, he finds himself needing to go deeper and darker places.

Nightwing was quick to catch him before he could get back to his feet. The sound of car alarms and smashing windows could be heard, as Nightwing made quick work of tying up the Riddler and pulling him to his feet. “Sorry about this Riddler, but you’re the only sure thing to calm him down and we can’t have him tearing down half the city.”

Unfortunately, the past has a way of always creeping up on you. People he thought he’d never see again came back into his life. All that he thought he had overcome has returned to haunt him. Will he be able to succeed again? Or will the new challenges and old addictions consume him once more?
This story mainly follows the plot of the Batman 2022 movie, though everything is stretched out and less fast-paced. There are also additional plot points and drama because of the character’s own mess that follows alongside the main plot.
There are two versions of this story. Version one follows a female reader, while version two follows a male character/reader. BUT the first version is under editing and has yet to be completed, and it won’t be until I finish this one. So, read version one at your discretion.

A clash of opposing plans causes Batman to accidentally be doused with a hybrid of not-quite-Fear Toxin and Ivy's pheromones. In order to cope with the opposing influences, his brain convinces him that the four Rogues who were keyed to them - Scarecrow, Ivy, Harley Quinn, and Riddler - have been deaged into children. Obviously he'll have to bring them home and look after them until an antidote is made.
Meanwhile, by order of the Batkids in order to NOT break Batman's mind, said Rogues are forced to play along.

Oswald falling in love with Edward as he is at his place when he is recovering from getting shot in the shoulder. Each chapter follows a different song that I think fits one of their personalities or situations
Each chapter has a slightly different prompt, but all revolve around Oswald wanting to be close to someone for once in his life that isn’t his mother, however not wanting to ruin the relationship he’s created with Edward. This is not a song fic; the music I used is just what I was listening to while writing to "set the mood" of Gotham xd
