Eva Stratt, the strict and highly controlled project director, becomes quietly fixated on Ryland Grace not in an openly emotional way, but through subtle actions like adjusting his schedule, intervening in his interactions, and keeping him close under the guise of efficiency.
Ryland starts to notice these patterns and grows increasingly confused about her behavior. He briefly distances himself and spends more time with Dr. Claire Bennett, which unintentionally makes Eva withdraw even further instead of reacting directly.
