Summary
“Daeron,” Valarr whispered into Daeron’s left ear. “Where is my pup?”
“My pup, where are they?”
“I'm sure they are with Mother above…” Daeron managed to say between kisses Valarr placed with wrath on his neck. “When my Lady Mother died, The High Septon said-”
“Where is my pup, Daeron?” Valarr’s brown and purple eyes turned dark. “The one you conceived for me.”
Daeron dared to smile, but Valarr could see the fear on his lilac eyes.
“Cousin, I'm afraid you have lost your mind.”
In which Valarr found out that Daeron had given birth when they were reunited at his wife's bereavement.

Summary
The heir looked at his cousin's dry lips and opened the nightstand's drawer to find chapstick. He gently put them on Daeron. His cousin had stayed still.
So prettyThis pretty thing is mine
In which Valarr took initiative to make sure his dear cousin was getting the right treatment for his mental issues. If the right treatment meant having Daeron confined to a golden cage half-awake, so be it.

“Who's there?”
The voice was one he had never heard of. Valarr braved to step further into the room.
“Aerion?”
The first thing he noticed was her pale lavender eyes.
Next was her golden locks, long and wavy, framing her pale face. He thought they looked beautiful, even shimmering like ocean waves.
In which Valarr was sick of sweet lies and false kindness, so he sought the only person at Red Keep who mayhaps would tell him the truth.
The said person was, as Ser Duncan reminded, his mad long-lost cousin locked up in a tower, but he would somehow make it work.

Summary
“Stop eating,” Valarr commanded next. “Pick up a sword and join us.”
Daeron bit further into the fruit, appreciating the sweetness that blessed his tongue.
“I do not enjoy fighting.”
Valarr smacked the peach off his hand with his sword in one, swift movement. Daeron didn't screech but he did flinch from the mild pain his palm suffered. Growing up with a little brother like Aerion had trained his nerves.
In which Daeron didn't think there was an even more spoiled lad with unreasonable whimsies than Aerion in this realm, but Valarr proved him wrong.
