Summary
After getting rather rudely displaced from a decennial conference about the dangers of anthropogenic climate change (by a hurricane, no less), an orphaned mermaid is forced to try and adapt to life on land. There, she finds out that she is not, in fact, an orphan.
A tail of inconvenience, parental neglect, trauma and learning how to love.
